May 12, 2010   Another one of my Shimoga kids now has a sponsor.  Ron and Diane Gruchow of Allenspark have chosen to give Mathaiah a quality education and dignity. 21 kids have sponsors so far. That's wonderful!

May 2, 2010   A week ago my son was the keynote speaker at a Data Center Conference in South Carolina hosted by Universal Electric. When he finished speaking, the President of Universal Electric came on stage and gave the attendees some personal background about Dean. And then handed him a check for $5,000 to be given to The Shimoga Project in Dean's name. When Dean called me, I COULDN'T STOP CRYING - WOW!! Every donation from $5 to $5,000 brings us closer to the goal of building a school for the untouchable children of Shimoga. I'm so blessed that I have the privilege of being a part of this project.

April 28, 2010   The restructured, updated Shimoga Web Site is finally on line. My son, you are a hard taskmaster as you told me that the previous structure of the site wasn't easy to navigate and that the site needed more information. You were right, but there sure was a lot of work involved. Love ya anyway . . .
